Welcome to Emma's Book Blog

Hello, and welcome to my book blog! My name is Emma and I love to read! So, I thought what better way than to share my love for reading by adding to the many book blogs out there. You see, dear reader whoever you may be, I love talking about books, recommending books, and simply sharing my opinions on books. My friends and family can only take so much, so here I am sharing it with you. 

    Before you dive in too deep into my innermost thoughts (I am sure they will be VERY deep) let's get a couple of things straight concerning the content of my posts. These posts are for fun, and strictly for fun!  Will they be the most quality posts ever? No. Will you enjoy everyone? I have no idea. Will I enjoy making them? Certainly, and that's all that counts. So read on, but don't expect too much from me. I am no scholar. 

    Now, as promised a little about me. My name is Emma, I am 18 years old, and I love reading! I love other things too (like music, movies, shopping, shopping for books, going to the beach, etc.) but reading is what I am going to call a "primary interest". I read super-fast, and I have plenty of books in a pile waiting to be read, so I am always able to give a recommendation, or at the very least enthuse about books on my TBR! Now, I must admit my two favorite genres are Young Adult and Contemporary Romance. I could also add in some subcategories for YA Dystopia and Regency Romance. I also love Jane Austen, although she fits under none of the aforementioned categories. That being said, I am open to reading anything that comes my way, and in fact, have challenged myself to read outside of my book comfort zone. So, dear reader whoever you are, don't expect me to read in simply one genre, just expect me to read a lot from certain genres.

    I cannot promise you the type of content this blog will produce. All I know is that I am going to try to keep it up. Maybe I will post reviews, my current reads, recommendations, or even books I don't recommend. Either way, I will post something. The thing is, I can't image many people reading this, so if you are thanks for stopping by! I look forward to sharing with you the bookish innermost workings of my mind!
